Runway prices need two checks: the billing interval and the generation allowance. A monthly equivalent shown on an annual plan is not the same as a monthly payment that you can stop after one month.

Runway also lists a free option with 125 one-time credits. The paid tiers list different monthly credit allowances: 625 for Standard, 2,250 for Pro and 9,500 for Max. Credits are not the same as finished videos; consumption depends on the selected model and generation settings.

Estimate the work before choosing a tier

Budget for attempts, not only the final clip length. For example, if you need ten approved clips and expect three attempts for each, plan for thirty generation attempts before any editing or upscaling. Multiply the planned attempts by the credit cost shown for the model and settings you will actually use.
