Best Chargers for iPhone 17 and iPhone 18 (2026): Fast, MagSafe and Cables
New iPhones don't come with a charger. Here is what to buy for fast wired charging, MagSafe wireless charging and the cable that ties it together.
· 1 min read

iPhones ship with a USB-C cable but no power adapter. Here's what actually makes a difference.
1. A fast USB-C power adapter
Any USB-C Power Delivery adapter fast-charges an iPhone. Apple's 20W USB-C Power Adapter charges a recent iPhone to about 50% in around 30 minutes, and it's small enough for any bag. If you also want the fastest MagSafe speeds, choose an adapter of 30W or more.
2. MagSafe for wireless charging
The Apple MagSafe Charger snaps onto the back of your iPhone. On iPhone 16 and newer it reaches up to 25W with a 30W+ adapter — much faster than older wireless chargers. It comes in 1 m and 2 m lengths.
3. The right cable
A genuine Apple USB-C Charge Cable is woven and durable. The 60W 1 m cable is plenty for iPhone; pick the 240W 2 m version if you also charge a MacBook.
